Sometimes, you already have one of every type of typical wall decor, and you need something different. You have a mirror, a collage of photos, plates, prints, artwork, etc. I love a great mirror, a collection of photographs, artwork, black and whites, plates, etc., triptych, hooks, shelves, etc. on the wall. But, if you need something different and unexpected…how about this?
I have found something I think is totally cool and unique. It is a great size too, about 36″ wide x 33 high. This is a good size, because it can easily hold its own over a buffet in the dinning room or in an entryway without looking dinky (it’s the first word that came to mind).
It is somehow hanging on the all already at this antique place I haunt, so I’m sure it could easily hang on your wall as well. I would love for it to find a home because I don’t have a home for it (does that make me a horse adoption agent?), none of my clients need it right now, I also don’t have any space left to store things I might someday find a home for. I don’t have room to store it right now, and I just like to share good things (does that make me Martha Stewart [without the fortune of course]?)
The profile of the piece is great too. It would add so much interest and texture to an interior. I might consider painting it white to really bring out the textures and shapes.
